MOTIVATE‑XR (Maintenance, Support & Operation Training using Immersive Virtual and Augmented Technology for Efficiency with XR) is an EU‑funded Horizon Europe project aimed at improving maintenance, support, and training through the use of extended reality (XR) technologies. The project develops interactive XR tools, 3D models, and digital instructions that enable more efficient learning, faster service interventions, and improved remote support.

Within the project, Gorenje is testing the developed tools for creating XR‑supported troubleshooting instructions for washing machines. These instructions are intended for both service technicians and end users, with the goal of improving clarity of repair procedures, increasing repair success rates, extending product lifetime, and reducing e‑waste.
